Woes Of A Poser

i am no artist. i can’t draw at all.

however, i do most of the graphics for my church, so i’m always trying to learn new techniques and find new pretty things to incorporate to our website/keynote presentations/whathaveyou.

one of the things i like most is fonts.

lots of fonts.

the problem is that i’m not cutting edge. so when i find a font i really like then it has a very short shelf life before EVERYONE else is using it, because, after all, i’m late in discovery anyway.

i found Hurricane and loved it!

then everyone started using it.

i found Bleeding Cowboys and LOVED IT MORE!

now everyone is using it.

the above graphic is an example of a terrible, terrible font.

no one will be using it any time soon.

i need a new font.

what is your favorite?

For a fairly simple block font I really enjoy Stencil

My favs are 321 Impact and Broken Ghost. Ironically, the font I use most often for youth group is called Got Heroin? All are on dafont.com
