it’s tuesday.

today’s positive post is for christian comedian scott wood.

last friday @calvaryhanford we had our annual Beloved’s Banquet. it’s our yearly valentines dinner.

this year we tried something a little different and decided to have a comedian come and regale us with jokes, impressions and other fun stuff.

scott was great. really great. like, people were crying great. crying from laughter.

the best part was that at the end of his routine, scott makes a point of sharing the Gospel with his audience and letting them know that Jesus loves them and has a plan for their lives.

for our group, scott went a bit further and explained how he’s able to go into night clubs and bars and comedy shacks and shine the light of Christ with people who need it.

scott was fantastic. he was truly funny. and he didn’t have to use profanity, racism, vulgar language or any of the other unsavory methods that many comics are known for.

so, thanks scott for filling us with laughter on friday. we’ll be thinking of you often.
