Eat It Or Wear It

food

my kelly took this picture back in july of 2008. we were on a little day-away to the central coast of california and (apparently) did not have the fortitude to finish our desserts.

this is startling to me for 2 reasons:

number 1 – we are avid dessert fans. we eat it almost every meal.

number 2 – we are even MORE avid cheesecake fans. and, while the offering pictured above cannot live up to the pensiero family cheesecake, it is sugary-cakey-desserty-enjoyment nonetheless.

i guess that day we just weren’t man enough for it.

i’ll try harder next time.

do you have a favorite dessert?

i’d like to know what it is…

My favorite restaurant dessert is the Key Lime Pie at Bahama Breeze. My favorite dessert in general is probably cake. Any kind of cake!

  2. Definitely cinnamon rolls. My mom used to make them when I was much younger. I pretty much took over that job though.

Tahoe Joes Nevada Cheesecake is definitely on the top of the list. My all time favorite is my cousins homemade mud pie. It is basically a ice cream layered cake with oreo crust and a combination of coffee/chocolate ice cream and hot fudge!

I have to go with the fruity side. A peach or berry cobbler would top my list. Also love just about any kind of pie.

I would have to say without a doubt, and very seldom, creme brulee. Last time I had it was at Opal in Santa Barbara with Emma. Out of this world!
